Summer projects fade – Winter stuff looms

With the normal barrage of rain we can expect this time of year it has been a challenging couple weeks trying to accomplish all the outside painting I seemed to to suddenly have. However, home in Qualicum is painted. Cedar for custom deck handrail had to be dryed in my shop with heaters before I was able to finish the painting on those for tomorrows job in Nanoose Bay. I can install it in the rain but can’t paint it or do the caulking/glazing around the tempered glass panels unless its dry. Darn weather - I always complain about the weather but I never do anything about it!  Lots of painting yet to do at two different jobs, but may not happen for awhile due to rain. Will be able to repair yet another customers old deck next week and replace some rotted boards and framing regardless of weather but then will move my attention to some furniture I need to build for a great customer and some kitchen upgrades there, if she likes any of my ideas that is! Plus more interior fix ups for another couple in Fairwinds. after that. So as usual, busier than heck and watching the forecast. Cheers eveybody,

Kev

Nautical’s new site.

Thanks for viewing our new site. Thanks to my brother Steve for putting this together for me, it is real handy having a computer guy in the family. Today its raining here in Nanoose Bay and I have painting to do in Qualicum Beach. It leaves me time to start on this project of having a good informative website for me. I think it is time well spent as more and more of my customers look for a web presence from their contractor. So here we go. Thanks everyone and all my great customers over the last 4 years! Cheers,

Kevin
